Head Teacher's Welcome

Ludworth Primary School is a small, happy and caring school sent in a rural part of County Durham, approximately 5 miles from both Durham city centre and Peterlee in opposite directions.

Our most recent OFSTED inspection was in May 2018 confirmed that this school continues to be a 'GOOD' school.

I am exceptionally proud to have been Head Teacher here since February 2013 and I continue to love working in such a fantastic school. We offer children wonderful learning experiences, organised and delivered by fantastic, dedicated staff in an exciting and stimulating environment. But the best thing about our school is the children. They are fantastic human beings who are a credit to their families and their school. They are the reason that I continue to love coming to school, even after all this time.

Since September 2021, I have been extremely proud to be Executive Head Teacher of the Limestone Learning Federation. Ludworth Primary School is now teamed in a mutually beneficial federation arrangement with Ferryhill Station Primary School. We can share ideas, resources and so much more! We are looking forward to an exciting future together.

Thank you!
