2023-24 academic year is here!
It was lovely having all the parents in school today for our coffee morning to raise money for the MacMillan charity.
Here at Ludworth Primary School we are profoundly saddened by the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We will be considering her life and the accession of the new King, Charles III, throughout this period of national mourning.
The children have had an eggcellent week creating some amazing eggs for our annual egg decorating competition. Take a look at the winners...
Safer Internet Day is 8th February 2022. Our School Council are leading activities to help children understand some key messages on how to keep themselves and others safe online. This is taught through our Computing curriculum, but our School Council felt that Safer Internet Day was a good time to think about key issues as a whole school. They developed this presentation to share with the rest of the children. As a school, we also thought that this day would be a good day for staff, children and parents to review our acceptable use agreements. Children will be bringing them home today. Please read them carefully, sign and return.
Class 2 really wanted to do a Nativity performance this year... and so they did! We hope you enjoy their performance, despite not seeing it in person.
The School Councillors visited the cenotaph in Ludworth on Thursday 11th November, to lay a cross in remembrance of all those who have died serving our country. All the children in school marked this significant event by completing a 2 minutes silence at 11'o'clock.
We're getting ready for the start of the new school year.
