Statutory Assessment Results

Our small cohorts impact heavily on percentages.

Early Years 2018

From low starting points, where very few children were on track against age related expectations on entry into Reception, 67% finished the year having achieved a good level of development as described by the Department for Education. National average for 2017 was 70.7%. One child exceeded the expected standard and this is equal to 11.1%. Nationally, 14.8% exceeded. There were only 9 children in this year group which meant that they represented 11.1% each. This means that our attainment is broadly in line with national averages.

Progress Between Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

Our results show that children make good progress in this school and attain in line with or above national averages by the time they leave us at the end of year 6. Where our progress score shows slightly lower than national (maths) there are child specific reasons for this and this is not the picture our school usually shows.
