In the interests of both economy and ecology, we have decided to significantly reduce the amount of newsletters we send out in paper form. Our website is frequently updated and includes all the calendar dates and events you need to know. It is even better than a newsletter, as there is a wealth of pictures and information that we may not normally include in an old fashioned newsletter.

Once every term we will send out an old style newsletter. Although this will not be as detailed as previous letters, it will have a diary of important dates included. Please still refer to the website as we can update this instantly to include the most recent information, whereas paper newsletters are often out of date as soon as they are printed, because things change so rapidly in school!

About Us

Ludworth Primary School is situated in a rural part of County Durham.

The school not only serves the village of Ludworth but also attracts families from the surrounding villages of Thornley, Haswell, Haswell Plough and Shadforth.

We are very proud of our school and try to operate as a family where each and every child is of high importance, in an environment where they feel safe, secure and cared for. click here to learn more about our school →
