Meet the Governors

Governing Body Vision

We want our school to be a safe and secure environment where everyone feels valued and appreciated. We want to build a strong partnership with families and the community so that all children will have every opportunity to achieve their full potential. We want everyone to become confident learners and to flourish as individuals in all aspects of life.

Vicky Gibbins - Chair of the Governors

I have been a governor at Ludworth Primary School for 6 years and Chair of Governors for 3 years. I have skills in proof reading, finance, customer service, psychiatric nursing, IT support and science which all link into my current governor responsibilities. My youngest child is in class 4 and my eldest graduated from here in 2016. You can often see me at school events or on the school yard, just stop me to say hello.

Graeme Mills - Vice Chair

Hi I am Graeme, I have been a parent governor  in Ludworth Primary and Nursery school for 2 years with my oldest 2 of my 4 children at school here. I have vast knowledge in health and safety, manual handling, construction, welding, building, mechanical engineering and advanced driving qualifications.  Living and growing up in an agricultural environment makes me more aware of all potential dangers which could occur on a daily basis. Everyone's health and safety is paramount to me so any concerns come and see me and have a chat.

Lyndsay Kennedy

Hello my name is Lindsay Kennedy. Many of you will know me as I have lived in Ludworth all my life. I attended Ludworth Primary School as have both my children. I have been a parent governor at our school since 2010. My special interest is maths. I am suited to this role as I have worked in finance since 1993.

Claire Herbert

I have been teaching at Ludworth Primary since 2007, during this time I have taught from Reception through to Year 6.  My two children also attend the school and I am very proud to be a part of this wonderful establishment and be involved in watching the children develop during their time here. In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit, catching up with friends and family and most importantly spending time with my children.
