Welcome and School Day

Ludworth Primary School is a small, happy and caring school sent in a rural part of County Durham, approximately 5 miles from both Durham city centre and Peterlee in opposite directions.

Our most recent OFSTED inspection was in  May 2018 confirmed that this school continues to be a 'GOOD' school.

I became Head Teacher of this school in February 2013. On taking up the post, I was delighted to find a school with an enriched curriculum, tailored to match the individual needs of the children in the school. Teachers work hard to develop good relationships with the children in their care. This results in a happy, purposeful learning environment of which I am proud to be Head Teacher.
