Harvest Festival

We celebrated Harvest Festival in school this Tuesday by thinking about and giving thanks for the food we eat. We thought about where our food comes from and how it gets onto our plates. We also discussed how important it is to help those around us and we did this by donating food we had collected to the East Durham Trust which runs a local foodbank.

Look at all the wonderful food our generous children, staff and parents donated! A big THANK YOU to everyone.

We had a visitor from East Durham Trust who spoke at our Harvest Festival. She told us about all the important work they do to help people in our region and how much our donation would help others.
