The End of Summer Term

The end of Summer Term was so busy! We all enjoyed our fabulous Summer Fayre which was held at our school field. The weather was glorious and we would like to thank everyone who came to the Fayre and also those who helped. Thank you!

As usual, we all really enjoyed our annual trip to Children North East's Sandcastle Challenge. The theme was 'Northern Inventors' and we thought we did very well indeed! (Although we didn't win!).

Our Year 6 Leavers' Assembly was the usual mix of huge amounts of fun and sadness because we were saying 'farewell' to members of our school family. We wish them every success in the future.

This year, because the weather was a little changeable, we opted to have our end of term BBQ in our lovely school garden. It tasted great, and the weather just about held out.
