International Week

During International Week, each class found out about a different country. As we always think about our school improvement priorities, included in everyone's week was a writing focus and an art focus so that we can achieve our Artsmark renewal.

The classes really enjoyed experiencing some of the culture of their chosen countries. Class 1 looked at Italy, Class 2 at Greece, Class 3 studied Mexico and Class 4 India. So that the experience could be even more immersive, our helpful cook themed the week's menu to co-ordinate with the countries the children were looking at. On the fifth day, the children enjoyed good old British fish and chips!
