World Book Day

Our school is working very hard with Children North East to Poverty Proof the school day. Because World Book Day can be a worry for families as children are often asked to come to school in costumes, we decided to make our own costumes inspired by the characters in the books we were reading. Everyone thought that this was fantastic! Parents came into school to join in with reading activities and they felt that the pressure of World Book Day costumes had been taken away but the children still had a great experience.
