Police Units Visit Ludworth

On 13th July, the children were delighted by a visit from the police helicopter, the dog unit and a traffic car. It was all kept very quiet and, right up to the point that everyione was sitting on the school field, the children did not know why they were there.

Levels of excitement rose as we heard the thrumming sound of the police helicopter from behind us. It was fantastic to see the thrilled faces of the children as the helicopter came into view, circled around our school field and then prepeared to land.

All children had the opportunity to sit in the police helicopter and the traffic car. Everyone got to pat Lottie the drug detection dog and gaze in wonder at Kaiser, the dog used to apprehend criminals.

When the police helicopter took off, it circled our village a few times and took aerial photographs of the village, the school and all of the children waving from the school field. Please enjoy some of our pictures from our amazing day.
