End of Term Fun!

We had so much fun the last week before Christmas!

Our Nursery children performed some lovely, Christmassy songs for their families on Monday. They had worked so hard and were so brave for standing on the stage, wearing Christmas hats and singing a selection of lovely songs!

On Monday afternoon, we welcomed family members into school for an afternoon of coffee, mince pies and Christmas activities. The children had all enjoyed making Christmas products to sell and there were a few stalls in our school hall.

Next we had our fantastic Christmas parties. Both parties had a special visitor who did some magic for us too! Can you guess who it was?

We also had a Christmas live music concert in school. Musicians from Durham Music Service came into school and we loved their performances of some well-know Christmas songs. They even got some of the teachers up dancing!

On Thursday we all went to the Pantomime at Sunderland and we loved watching Cinderella. The children really enjoyed seeing Scarlett Moffat as the Fairy Godmother.

On Friday, we were thrilled to have a whole school game of Hide and Seek. All of the children hid while teachers counted to 100 and then tried to find them. It's fair to say, we have some excellent hiders here at Ludworth Primary! We then had a whole school screening of the film, 'Elf', so that we could celerate the end of another December when our school elves caused mayhem around school.

Here is some of the mischief the elves got up to in the last week.

And then they were gone!

We had a fantastic, fun Christmas at Ludworth Primary School and now we can't wait to see what our exciting New Year brings.
