Every year we think about those who have lost their lives in war. We wear poppies and place a wreath on our village memorial. We follow our two minutes silence together and think about the sacrifice people have made so that we can be free.

This year we spent a whole week thinking about this and we all did some writing based around this theme. We also all created artwork inspired by this theme. Please have a look at these photographs of our beautiful whole school display this work created. As well as helping us to think about the sacrifice people made, we were also carefully considering our art skills and we are happy that this display shows progress in this throughout the school.
