Drum Assembly

Years 3 and 6 have been working with Ms Diament and our African Drums since September. Miss Diamnet is from the Durham Music Service and she works throughout the school across the year. The children have been exploring the rhythms of modern pop songs, rock songs and traditional African songs. They have also explored musical notation. This work culminated in a performance for the rest of the school and the children's parents.

It was a lively, loud, fun affair! Thank you to all of the parents who attended and a massive WELL DONE to our performers!
